From first call to covered, in four steps

No paperwork marathons and no guessing. Here is exactly what happens when you apply with us.

1

Tell us about your household

ZIP code, household size, and estimated annual income. That is all we need to start, about five minutes.

2

We calculate your savings

We run your HealthCare.gov premium tax credit and cost-sharing reduction eligibility before you look at a single plan.

3

Compare real Michigan plans

Side-by-side quotes from BCBSM, Priority Health, HAP, McLaren, Ambetter and more, with your doctors and prescriptions checked.

4

Enroll and get confirmation

We submit the application together, you get your confirmation and member ID, and we stay your agent all year.

Have these six things handy

Gather these once and the application itself takes 20-30 minutes. Missing something? Apply anyway. We can add documents later.

Basic details

Full names, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers for everyone applying.

Income estimate

Your best estimate of this year’s household income. Pay stubs or last year’s tax return help.

Current coverage info

Policy numbers for any current health coverage, including employer offers.

Doctors & medications

A list of the doctors and prescriptions you want covered, so we can check networks first.

Mailing address & email

Where your carrier documents, ID cards, and confirmations should go.

Immigration documents (if applicable)

Document numbers for eligible immigration statuses, when they apply.

Three ways to apply, one does more

All three routes reach the same HealthCare.gov marketplace. The difference is who stands beside you after you enroll.

Licensed agent (us)

Compares every major Michigan carrier, handles the application, and stays your advocate at renewal, claims, and life changes.

HealthCare.gov navigator

Helps you complete the marketplace application, but cannot recommend one plan over another or advocate with a carrier later.

Going it alone

You compare plans, estimate subsidies, and fix mistakes yourself. Errors in income estimates are the most common cause of surprise tax bills.

Real Michigan agents, all 83 counties

From Detroit to Marquette, we enroll by phone, video, or text. Whatever works for you. Evening and weekend appointments during open enrollment.

Applying, answered.

Still curious about something? Every consultation starts with your questions, not our paperwork.

When can I apply for a Michigan plan?

Open enrollment runs November 1 to January 15 on HealthCare.gov. Enroll by December 15 for January 1 coverage; enroll after and coverage starts February 1. Outside those dates you need a qualifying life event (job loss, moving, marriage, a new baby) which opens a 60-day special enrollment window.

Most households finish in 20 to 30 minutes when the checklist above is ready. We prepare everything with you on one call, so there is no back-and-forth.

Nothing, ever. Carriers pay licensed agencies a commission, and by federal rule your premium is identical whether you enroll with us or on your own. You simply gain an advocate.

Yes, with a qualifying life event, and Healthy Michigan Plan (Medicaid) and MIChild enroll year-round. If you are not sure you qualify, ask us; the answer is often yes.
